Chinese art turnover ranks third in the world

Recently, the European art foundation, an international authoritative art market research institution, released the annual global art market monitoring report. China ranked third in the world in terms of total turnover in 2009, and China Guardian became the world's top five auction companies.

According to the report, in 2009, the total transaction volume of the global art market was 31.3 billion euros, down 26% from 2008, but this figure is still higher than the level in 2006.
