Misspelling Obama's name in Australian gift shop "Mug"

The British Daily Telegraph reported on June 7 that a gift shop in Australia recalled a batch of commemorative cups that had been sold because the designs on the cups misspelled the name of US President Barack Obama.

It is reported that Obama plans to visit Australia in the near future. A gift shop in Canberra publicly sold commemorative cups with the words "barrackobama" (correctly spelled BarackObama) on the 7th.

It is reported that before realizing the mistake, the gift shop had sold two such cups, and then the clerk took the unsold commemorative cups off the shelves.

Obama last week canceled plans to visit Australia and Indonesia to focus on the Gulf of Mexico oil spill. It was reported that Obama was forced to cancel his trip to Australia. In March this year, he postponed his visit to Australia because he had to deal with the US health care reform plan.
